Amendment in manifest is possible before filing of GD
Now any kind of amendment in manifest is possible before filing of GD and not after it
As message received in WeBoc from deputy collector (Admin),
Many importers/Agents /shipping Lines are approaching this office for amendment in index/IGM/Manifest e.g from PICT to KPT East Wharf or from CFS/LCL to CY/FCL. in this regard , it is intimated that in WeBOC system any kind of amendment in manifest is possible before filing of GD and not after it. Because Once GD is filed , the index is locked and amendments are impossible. it becomes only possible if GD is first got cancelled .
