Karachi Jinnah Airport iPhone Smuggling
A suspect named Faisal Salim brought 39 iPhones into Karachi from Dubai for the purpose of smuggling. Customs officials estimate the current value of the iPhones to be around 39 million Pakistani Rupees.
The Customs team at Jinnah Airport, after conducting a search, apprehended 39 iPhones that the suspect had concealed on his person.
The suspect attempted to deceive the Customs officials by feigning disability and using a wheelchair while making use of the Green Channel.
Faisal Salim, who was involved in iPhone smuggling from Karachi’s Jinnah Airport, has been arrested. A case has been filed against the suspect under the Customs Act, and further investigations are underway.
