New Customs Values of Potato Chips Under Valuation Ruling 1870/2024
In Valuation Ruling 1870/2024, Customs Values of Potato Chips (Lay’s, Pringles, Ligo, Chizzpa, Jacker Potato, Mister Chips, Tiffany, Kettle, Poppin, Kracks, Hunter’s, ) are determined in the exercise of the powers conferred under Section 25A read with Sub-Section 15 of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1969.

Customs Values of Potato Chips Under Valuation Ruling 1870/2024 — hereinafter specified shall be assessed to duty/taxes following minimum Customs Values:-

Note: In cases, where declared values are higher than the Customs values determined in this Ruling, the assessing officers shalt apply those values in terms of sub-section (l) of Section 25 of the Custom Act, 1969. In case of consignments imported by air, the assessing officers shall take into account the difference between air freight and sea freight while applying the Customs values in this Ruling.
