Sui Northern Gas Announces New Winter Gas Supply Schedule for 2024
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has now prepared a fresh winter gas supply schedule to facilitate consumers with less fluctuation of the gas pressure this winter season. This will be properly effective for households to cope with their regular life schedule without any difficulty.
New Winter Gas Supply Timings
The new schedule provides gas supply at full pressure to consumers in three significant stints in a day. The timings are;
6:00 AM to 9:00 AM – For Breakfast
12:00 PM to 2:00 PM – For Lunch
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM – For Dinner
This timing is now being introduced to adhere to the directives of the government and ensure a sufficient supply of gas that can be used by each household during winter. SNGPL assures all the consumers that gas will be supplied at full pressure at these time slots in all service areas.
Why This New Schedule?
Greater usage of gas takes place in winter because mainly it is utilized for heating up homes and their meals. When the daylight hours are cut short by cold temperature, appliances like boilers and heaters require more gas to be functional. Thus, these specific time slots for specified demand will enable SNGPL to make sure that pressure pressure stays stable when the present demand increases due to the winter season.
SNGPL supplied electricity to about 7.22 million consumers in Punjab and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. This is because SNGPL remains committed to providing its consumers with reliable and stable service.
