Pakistan Textile Exports Grow by 7.22% in FY25

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan textile exports grew to $17.88 billion in fiscal year 2025, up by 7.22% from $16.68 billion in fiscal year 2024, the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) said.

Textile exports in FY25 were nevertheless 7.36% lower than the record high of $19.3 billion hit in fiscal year 2022.

Textile exports in June 2025 were $1.53 billion, up by 7.75% year on year from $1.42 billion in June 2024.

Increased textile exports indicate recovery and increased demand globally, although experts argue that high production costs, energy constraints, and competition globally remain to affect overall performance.
