Holiday Announced for Schools and Colleges in Rawalpindi and Islamabad
It has been announced that all the schools and colleges of public and private sectors in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be closed on Monday, 25th November. The step has been taken by the authorities because of the protest organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
While the holiday will save students, staff, and the general public from the potential dangers and inconveniences of protests, the closure for the expected protest activities doesn’t seem to be suitable for taking place on a holiday. Since the situation is being closely watched by authorities, whether or not the holiday will be extended is still undetermined. More updates on when to open the educational institutions will be given once more information is gathered.
