Pakistan’s business leaders are proposing to establish special “China desks” in government departments to facilitate Chinese companies to invest in Pakistan. This proposal came from the Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI). They propose to expedite business procedures and enhance collaboration between Pakistan and China via the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

These “China desks” would assist Chinese firms by providing them with one location where they can access regulation support, project guidance, and business assistance. This will minimize delays and make investors feel more secure.

PCJCCI President Nazir Hussain explained that the chamber is committed to enhancing business relationships and will be in the vanguard of facilitating Chinese investment in Pakistan.

The leaders of PCJCCI believe this concept is in line with Pakistan’s vision of enhancing its industries. They also expect that it will attract more Chinese investment through linking businesses with productive government policies.

They also talked about potential joint ventures in renewable energy, electric cars, and farming. They also expect to establish centers of innovation and pilot projects, which will trigger long-term growth for the two nations.

PCJCCI Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif emphasized how it is essential for organizations to collaborate with each other in order to develop further. He said that PCJCCI is organizing working groups, policy sessions, and networking meetings to further help the business community.

PCJCCI remains a vital connection between Chinese enterprises and Pakistani industries, with a view to sustainable growth and technology sharing.
