TOMCL Enters Tajikistan with $3.24 Million Export Order
The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL), a renowned meat processor in Pakistan, has inked a substantial export order worth $3.24 million. The firm will complete these orders during the ongoing financial year.
TOMCL made the disclosure on Monday, releasing the news via the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The company, as per the notice, has already commenced the production and export of frozen boneless beef, tailor-made to address the country’s specific import requirements and regulations in Tajikistan.
This breakthrough in Tajikistan is TOMCL’s expansion into the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) territory, and it comes as a milestone for the firm. They consider this as a very important expansion move to enhance their market coverage and sustain their position as a top halal meat exporter of Pakistan.
TOMCL is a private firm established in 2010 that specializes in processing and marketing halal meat and its by-products. It is a significant exporter of red meat and meat by-products, and the Middle East market is its main destination. In the recent past, the company has expanded its offerings to raw materials to use in pet food, enabling it to penetrate markets in the US and Europe. TOMCL also has a significant presence in the Far East, CIS, and South Asia regions.
In 2021, TOMCL was granted Chinese customs clearance for exporting heat-treated beef to China. The company is also the first in Pakistan to export vacuum-packed fresh beef and the only one in the area to have the technology to vacuum pack or blast freeze mutton and beef carcasses.
This expansion into Tajikistan now solidifies TOMCL’s position as a leading halal meat export business.
