Pakistan’s Exports to Afghanistan Grow by 38.68% in FY 2024-25
Pakistan has increased its exports to Afghanistan by 38.68% in the fiscal year 2024-25. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the total value of goods and services sent to Afghanistan reached $773.89 million, up from $558.03 million in the previous year.
Monthly and Yearly Export Trends
In June 2025, exports to Afghanistan rose by 8.24% compared to June 2024. The value increased from $46.41 million to $50.23 million.
However, compared to the previous month (May 2025), exports dropped by 11.63%, falling from $56.84 million to $50.23 million.
Pakistan’s Overall Export Growth
During the same period, Pakistan’s total exports to all countries also increased by 4.24%, going from $30.98 billion to $32.30 billion.
Imports from Afghanistan Also See Changes
Pakistan’s imports from Afghanistan jumped by 116.53% in FY 2024-25, reaching $25.90 million, up from $11.96 million the previous year.
However, on a year-to-year basis, imports from Afghanistan dropped by 33.55% in June 2025 compared to June 2024. They also declined month-to-month by 39.55%, falling from $1.95 million in May to $1.18 million in June 2025.
Overall Import Performance
Pakistan’s total imports from all countries grew by 11.13%, rising from $53.16 billion to $59.08 billion during FY 2024-25.
