ISLAMABAD: Cement exports of Pakistan recorded a remarkable 23.74% increase in the FY 2024-25 at $329.8 million. This reflects a sharp improvement over the last fiscal year, when exports were $266.5 million.
As per the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the value of cement exports also increased by 28.71%, from 9.12 million metric tons in FY 2024 to 7.09 million metric tons in FY 2025.
In June 2025 alone, the exports of cement saw a staggering growth of 40.81% year-on-year. June 2025 exports stood at $41.85 million, against $29.72 million in June 2024.
On a month-to-month scale, cement exports also experienced growth. In June 2025, exports rose by 22.23% from May 2025, when exports stood at $34.24 million.
It should be mentioned that total exports of Pakistan increased by 4.67% in FY 2025 to a total of $32.1 billion from $30.7 billion in FY 2024.
Meanwhile, imports into the country also rose by 6.57% to $58.38 billion in FY 2025 from $54.78 billion a year earlier.
