KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) will hear a petition filed by Bismillah Logistics Private Limited regarding the suspension of its license. The hearing is scheduled for February 19 before a custom appellate bench. The Chief Collector, Appraisement (South), and Assistant Collector MCC Appraisement (West), Licensing Section, are named as respondents in the case. The petition was filed by the well-known law firm, Franklin Law Associates.
During the hearing, the lawyer representing Bismillah Logistics stated that the issue raised in this petition had already been resolved in another case (CP-D 466 of 2025), where similar petitions were approved, and the suspension orders were lifted.
The lawyer also informed the bench that a Show Cause Notice had been issued to Bismillah Logistics, and the company had already submitted a response. After considering the facts, the bench issued notices to the respondents and the Deputy Attorney General. Additionally, the court suspended the Circular dated February 1, 2025, until the next hearing date.
