Rawalpindi has launched exclusive green lanes for motorcyclists to secure roads and streamline them. This new initiative has come after another successful venture was launched in Lahore. The most important objective is to ensure safe travel for motorcyclists as they mostly suffer on busy streets.
Rawalpindi City Traffic Police announced the start and encouraged motorcyclists not to make risky lane changes and overtaking. This is done to minimize accidents and make transportation safer for all.
Chief Traffic Officer Benish Fatima elaborated that green lanes will contribute to fewer accidents and better flow of traffic. She pointed out that providing the motorcyclist with his/her lane establishes a secure ambiance for all transportation users.
Fatima also emphasized the need to follow traffic regulations and utilize the green lane appropriately. She clarified that these measures are crucial to the success of the initiative and the security of all people on the road.
