The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revised its reward policy for customs officials under the FBR’s transformation plan for performance management. The new procedure to enhance efficiency was made public through SRO.576(I)/2025 on Wednesday.
According to the updated policy, the Customs officers in Pakistan (BS-17 and above) will be provided monetary awards based on their performance rank. The awards are consistent with the approved FBR Board’s performance management plan, whereby the customs officials are rewarded for their work based on their respective performance.
The transformation is in keeping with FBR’s constant endeavour to make the customs operation more efficient and inspire officials to strive for high levels of performance.
