Karachi: The High Court of Sindh (SHC) has admitted two Special Customs Reference Applications (SCRAs) moved by the Customs Department against two orders of the Customs Appellate Tribunal.
The case was argued by Sardar Zafar Hussain, attorney for the Customs Department. He questioned whether the Customs Appellate Tribunal erred in rejecting a laboratory test report. The test testified that the subject goods—Cold Rolled Steel Sheets—belonged to PCT Heading 7202.1607.
The court has directed issuance of notices to the parties concerned, and four weeks’ hearing is set. The respondents in this case are S.A Traders and Crystal Steel Corporation, Lahore.
