    Pakistan to Host Regional Transport Ministers Conference in Islamabad on October 23-24, 2025

    Pakistan will be hosting the Regional Transport Ministers Conference (RTMC) in Islamabad on October 23-24, 2025. The conference will gather ministers and senior representatives from 27 nations to discuss means of strengthening regional transport connections and enhancing trade.

    The two-day event, to be hosted at the Jinnah Convention Centre, will aim at developing land, sea, and air links, developing trade corridors, and boosting bilateral and multilateral ties.

    During the logo launching ceremony of the event, important personalities like Federal Ministers Abdul Aleem Khan, Hanif Abbasi, and Junaid Anwar presented the vision and objectives for the RTMC 2025. They stressed that the conference shall be instrumental in enhancing regional cooperation and trade relations.

    A one-day special meeting under the chairmanship of Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan was convened to discuss the arrangements for the conference. He instructed the concerned ministries to make sure that the organization of the event is of the best quality, emphasizing that it will also serve to further improve Pakistan’s international reputation while providing new opportunities for trade and economic development.

    Ministers Hanif Abbasi and Junaid Anwar welcomed the event, emphasizing it as a very important initiative towards regional connectivity. The official logo of the conference was endorsed in the meeting, and senior officials briefed on the progress of the event.

    Apart from the conference, Khan also declared a plan for cultural show and exhibition to present Pakistan’s rich heritage and hospitality. Public exhibitions will also be conducted by government departments to reach out to the masses. Khan stressed the need for smooth coordination in all sectors so that the event was a success.
