Sindh High Court Disposes of Steel Vision’s Petition Against Customs

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has officially closed a constitutional petition filed by Steel Vision, a company that imports metals. The case was filed through their lawyer, Mr. Zain Jatoi, against Show Cause Notices issued by Pakistan Customs.

During the hearing, Steel Vision’s lawyer told the court that the company is ready to respond to the Show Cause Notices and wants a fair hearing. The lawyer also requested the court to stop any strict action until the case is properly heard and decided.

The Customs Department did not object to this request. As a result, the SHC bench agreed with the petitioner and disposed of the case based on the lawyer’s request. The court directed that the matter be decided fairly, and Steel Vision must be given a chance to explain their position.

Sardar Zafar Hussain represented Pakistan Customs, while Ms. Alizeh Bashir appeared on behalf of the federal government.
