New RLNG prices for January 2025: Govt

Pakistan government has notified new RLNG prices for the month of January 2025. The same has been published in the notification of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

According to the new notification, the RLNG price for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has been reduced, while for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), it will be increased. The new RLNG price for SNGPL is $12.66 per MMBtu, and for SSGCL, it will be $12.60 per MMBtu.
The RLNG price in December 2024 was $12.89 per MMBtu for SNGPL and $12.54 per MMBtu for SSGCL.

Besides the increase in the prices of RLNG, the government had also hiked the prices of fuels just before New Year. Petrol price increased by 56 paisa per liter and now costs Rs258.66 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel increased by Rs2.96 per liter, now priced at Rs258.34 per liter.
These prices are part of the regular pricing formula of the government, under which it increases fuel and gas prices sometimes according to the market conditions.

Update: Keep yourself posted about the recent rates of RLNG and fuels in Pakistan.
